Alex Haines, jazz musician and general winner. The guy is 7 kinds of cool.
Taken during a photoshoot for a project I'm working on, based on people and the objects they associate themselves with. The man is a god on the guitar, he's going places. 8 hours of practice a day, pure enthralment to his instrument, and a good set of music activities (gigs, tutoring others, bands etc.) are getting him where he wants to be. Plus he has a sweet hat. Camera: Nikon D40 (with sensor mod), 18-55mm lens. Lighting: Single studio flash (no modelling light), reflector/snoot combo. No editing at all, with the exception of my watermark. |
