"The Grey Man"

One particular story seems to be more pronounced than others involves The Grey Man, a frosty morning in Southern Japan, a corrupt union official and his bodyguards.

Knowing his demise was imminent, the union official had escaped to his snowy retreat in the mountains. As his bodyguards stepped from the car, they checked the building, then proceed to pick up and carry the veiled official from the car to the building.

As they put him down in the master bedroom, they noticed the leather gloves their boss was wearing. Before one of them could even speak a word, a thin blade ran across his throat. The other guard went for his pistol, only to have his arm broken by a swift movement.

The veil dropped to the floor, revealing The Grey Man's face to the agonised bodyguard. The union official was dead before they even got in the car.

The bodies were never found, and the only evidence of the event is sealed within The Agency's record vault.
